A native of Poughkeepsie, New York, Dr. Hoffman completed his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the State University of New York at Stony Brook where he earned several faculty nominated awards for his extensive involvement in the community and for his clinical excellence. Dr. Hoffman’s passion for community service has allowed him to treat the underserved in several states across the United States, as well as in the rainforests of Madagascar, Africa. Prior to becoming a doctor, Dr. Hoffman graduated Summa Cum Laude from Marist College with Bachelor of Science degrees in both Biochemistry and Biomedical Sciences.
Dr. Hoffman relocated to San Diego to treat the men and women who serve our country, completing a post-graduate residency program at the VA Hospital in La Jolla, where he received advanced training in both surgical and restorative dentistry.
He is dedicated to providing the highest level of quality and professionalism, evident in his affiliations with the California Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the San Diego County Dental Society and the Spear Education Institute.
When he is not practicing dentistry, Dr. Hoffman can be found hiking, biking, or rollerblading throughout San Diego with his fiancé, Kelsey, and cheering on his beloved New York Giants.
